Jira
Any of the SOOS Issues may be pushed to a Jira cloud instance using the Creating Tickets & Pull Requests workflow.
We recommend creating a specific "SOOS" user in your Jira account ahead of performing the integration steps below.
Using the "SOOS" user for the integration steps will ensure that all issues created from the SOOS app will appear with the "SOOS" user as the "reporter" in Jira. Otherwise, all issues will be listed under the user who initial configures the Jira integration.
This also prevents future issues if the Jira user who set up the integration leaves your organization.
After navigating to the Integrate page and External Connections tab, select the Jira tab and provide the details below.
Cloud URL - This is your base URL, using the following format - https://[YourCompany].atlassian.net/ If you are unsure, check with your Jira administrator.
User Email - The username or email used to log into Jira (use the "SOOS" Jira user email, if you are following the recommendation above).
Jira Ticket Type - This will default to 'Bug', but you may choose to customize this option based on your Jira ticketing preferences.
Jira Ticket Priority - This will default to 'Low', but you may choose to customize this option based on your Jira ticketing preferences.
API Token - The API Token from Jira. (Use the API token from the "SOOS" user, if you are following the recommendation above.) You can get more information about Jira API tokens in Jira Support.
After populating the required information in the SOOS app, click Save.

Finally, configure the Jira project key(s) under Issue Management Configurations.
We recommend setting each Jira project key as a project level configuration, unless you wish to collect all issues under a single Jira project.
