Automatically create dependent project links when SBOMs with external document references (references to other SBOMs) are encountered and the referenced SBOM already exists in SOOS.
CycloneDX and SPDX SBOMs support External SBOM References.
Enable Auto Link SBOM External Document References under Dependency Configurations.
When enabled, SOOS will automatically create Dependent Project links using the SBOM external references if the referenced SBOM has previously been scanned.
If linking does not automatically occur, make sure to re-run the scan for the referenced dependent projects, then re-run the SBOM referencing those projects, after the configuration has been enabled.
